Beyond the CEO Seat – A Powerful Presence Across the Largest Providers
This year for the Largest Providers Report, we wanted to take a closer look at the women shaping the future of senior living. So, we asked participating companies a simple question: “Please list the name and title of any women in leadership roles at your organization.”
The response was extraordinary.
More than 1,000 names—1,001 to be exact—came pouring in. From CEOs and CFOs to regional managers and executive directors, this overwhelming response reflects not only the depth of talent but the growing visibility and impact of women across every corner of the industry.
Among the top 150 largest providers, we’re proud to highlight the remarkable women holding the highest leadership roles in their organizations—visionary executives who are leading companies, shaping care models, and setting the tone for inclusive and people-first cultures.
But this isn’t just about titles at the top. It’s about the thousands of women who are driving change, building teams, and making daily decisions that elevate senior living. The sheer number of women recognized this year speaks volumes about the momentum behind gender equity in our field—and the opportunity to keep that momentum growing.
The Argentum Women in Leadership Initiative: A Community for Growth, Support, and Inspiration

The Argentum Women in Leadership (WIL) initiative serves as a cornerstone of that commitment. Built around connection, mentorship, and professional development, WIL creates a strong and supportive community for women across all levels of the senior living industry—from emerging professionals to executives in the C-suite.
Through WIL, participants gain access to:
- Leadership Development Opportunities: Workshops and virtual events focused on real-world leadership challenges and growth strategies.
- Mentorship Programs: One-on-one pairings between experienced executives and early-to-mid-career women looking to navigate their next step with confidence and clarity.
- Networking and Peer Support: A year-round community of peers and allies who understand the unique journey of women in this industry and want to see each other succeed.
- The Women in Leadership Fall Forum: Held annually, this signature event is a high-energy gathering of women across the industry. It’s a space where ideas are exchanged, stories are shared, and lasting professional relationships are formed.
As Meredith Bonyun, Argentum’s Director of Development, and internal WIL Champion, puts it, “The Women in Leadership initiative is more than a program—it’s a movement. It’s about recognizing the incredible talent we already have in this field, and creating space, support, and opportunities for those women to lead boldly, authentically, and collaboratively.
