Spring LEAD capstone presentations demonstrate the impact of investing in emerging talent. The deadline has been extended until August 10 to nominate candidates for the Fall 2026 cohort.
What happens when emerging senior living leaders are given the opportunity to develop their skills, work across organizations and tackle meaningful industry challenges?
The Spring 2026 Argentum LEAD cohort’s newly released Capstone Project presentations offer a compelling answer. Through their capstone work, participants moved beyond leadership theory to examine real issues affecting senior living, collaborate with peers and develop ideas that can help advance the field. Their presentations demonstrate the strategic thinking, confidence and industry perspective that can grow when organizations recognize promising professionals and invest in their potential.
The deadline to nominate emerging leaders for the Fall 2026 LEAD cohort has been extended until August 10. For organizations considering whom to nominate, the Spring capstones provide a firsthand look at what that investment can produce.
Leadership Development Put into Practice
Argentum’s Leadership Advancement and Development program, known as LEAD, is designed to help emerging senior living professionals build the confidence, skills, strategic perspective and relationships they need to become stronger leaders. Participants take part in interactive learning sessions, assessments, cohort discussions, independent assignments and a Capstone Group Project. Together, these experiences move leadership development from the classroom into practical application.
Through the capstone process, participants have an opportunity to:
- Strengthen strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with professionals from organizations across senior living.
- Examine industry challenges from new perspectives.
- Practice communicating and presenting ideas with clarity and confidence.
- Build relationships with a network of emerging leaders.
- Demonstrate their readiness for greater responsibility.
The Spring cohort presentations show participants doing more than absorbing information. They are asking thoughtful questions, drawing on their professional experience and contributing ideas that can spark conversations and inspire new approaches across the industry.
An Investment with an Organizational Return
The value of LEAD extends beyond the individual participant. Employers gain a more capable and connected professional who returns with new ideas, a broader understanding of the industry and practical insights that can be applied within their organization. LEAD also gives employers a meaningful way to recognize high-potential employees and demonstrate that their growth is worth supporting.
At a time when senior living organizations are focused on retaining talented employees and strengthening their leadership pipelines, that message matters. A nomination tells an emerging leader: We see your potential. We value what you contribute. We are willing to invest in where you can go next.
It can also help organizations develop promising talent before those employees begin looking elsewhere for opportunities to grow.
Who in Your Organization Is Ready to LEAD?
The next generation of senior living leaders may already be managing teams, strengthening workplace culture, improving operations, developing new programs or quietly stepping forward whenever a challenge arises.
Today is the opportunity to recognize them.
Company CEOs, COOs and senior human resources professionals may nominate up to four emerging leaders from their organizations for the Fall 2026 LEAD cohort. The program will combine virtual learning and collaboration with an in-person session held in conjunction with the Senior Living Leadership Summit.
