Strong leaders don’t develop in isolation. They benefit from opportunities to learn from others, build meaningful professional relationships, find mentors and peers, and hear firsthand from people who have navigated their own paths to leadership. That is the idea behind Argentum’s Women in Leadership (WIL) initiative, which focuses on the development, advancement, and retention of women in senior living through professional development, education, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
WIL connects professionals across the senior living field with a network of individuals committed to serving older adults and strengthening the industry. Through the initiative, participants have access to a monthly virtual speaker series featuring women leaders, a virtual one-to-one mentoring program designed to foster relationships and support female leaders at all career levels, and opportunities to network and learn from peers at Argentum events throughout the year. WIL also provides opportunities to recognize and highlight the important work women are doing on behalf of the seniors and communities our industry serves.
Coming Up: A Conversation with Jane Arthur Roslovic
The next opportunity to connect and learn through WIL is the Women in Leadership Speaker Series on Thursday, October 8, from 1:00–1:30 p.m. ET, featuring Jane Arthur Roslovic, CEO and co-founder of Treplus Communities.
After a successful career in real estate development, Roslovic co-founded Treplus Communities in 2012 and today leads the company’s vision and growth. She is a recognized voice in the active adult industry and has held leadership roles with ULI, NAHB, the Central Ohio BIA, where she served as president, and NIC, where she serves as Vice Chair of the Active Adult FAC.
During this candid 30-minute conversation, Roslovic will share insights from her career journey, the leadership lessons she has learned along the way, and the experiences that have helped shape how she leads today.
The monthly WIL Speaker Series is designed to give participants direct access to accomplished women leaders and their perspectives on topics including career development, mentorship, networking, leading through challenging times, and choosing a path of purpose.
Registration for the October 8 webinar is free and open to Argentum members and nonmembers.
