More than 80 percent of couples disagree about a major component of their retirement planning, reports the USA Today, including where they’ll live after their retire.
Experts advise those approaching retirement – particularly couples making a joint decision – to research their retirement destination thoroughly. For example, they should consider living in the new location for a few weeks before permanently relocating. This fits well with a marketing strategy among senior living providers- offering prospective residents trial or temporary stays in their communities.
