The NYS Department of Health adopted an emergency regulation which requires health care workers in hospitals, diagnostic and treatment centers, certified home health agencies, licensed home care services agencies, long term home health programs (including AIDS home care programs, and hospice programs to be vaccinated against influenza by November 30th every year.
At this time the regulation does not apply to workers in Adult Care Facilities or Assisted Living Residences.
