Columbus, OH, October 24, 2023: Gov. Mike DeWine has appointed Teresa Remy, LeaderStat’s Director of Consulting, to the Ohio Board of Nursing (OBN). Her term began on September 1, 2023, and will continue through December 31, 2026.
Remy’s 43-year nursing career has been dedicated to serving others. From her beginnings as a nursing assistant in 1981 to a renowned nurse leader, her career has seen many achievements. She
joined the LeaderStat team in 2016 where she has worked tirelessly to ensure that long-term care organizations throughout the nation have exceptional leaders by providing clients with consulting expertise and interim support.
“I am very honored to be appointed to the Board of Nursing by Governor Mike DeWine and I am eager to serve my fellow Ohioans,” Remy says. “The Ohio Board of Nursing vision, mission and values align with mine as I work to actively follow safeguards according to requirements for nursing as well as other healthcare professions.”
The OBN regulates more than 300,000 licenses and certificates. OBN licenses and regulates Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs), Dialysis Technicians (DTs), Community Health Workers (CHWs) and Medication Aides (MA-Cs).
