Community build in Aventura set to open early 2024
ATLANTA (September 21, 2023) – Thrive Senior Living will introduce a new social experience in senior living to the state of Florida. The senior living industry leader announced today that the latest Thrive community is set to open in Aventura, FL, just inside the bustling metropolitan-Miami area, in early 2024. This new community— The International at Aventura— follows the successful grand opening of Thrive at Montvale, the company’s first venture into New Jersey. These additions to Thrive’s portfolio illustrate the continued commitment to innovation that will enhance the lives and longevity of older adults while making a positive impact on the public view of aging and senior living. The International at Aventura will house more than 160 suites built for a mix of independent living, assisted living and memory care. Each unit will boast high ceilings and large windows, allowing plenty of natural light—and even an ocean view from the top floors. Many of the independent and assisted living suites will feature balconies, allowing residents to take in the fresh, warm Florida air without leaving home.
As one of the company’s most luxurious communities to date, The International at Aventura will offer a lush, botanical ambiance, captivating artwork and plenty of state-of-the-art amenities. Amenities will include a pool, movie theater, art studio, massage room, athletic center, sculpture garden, and numerous dining options including a bar and bistro. The community will also feature a carefully designed social court. The space is designed to encourage conversation and connection while being large and intricate enough to find places of solitude. The floor will be flooded with natural life and soaring ceiling heights that create a stunning experience the moment the elevator doors open.
The International at Aventura will host a Welcome Center grand opening celebration on Oct. 3 – 5 from noon – 2 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet The International team, explore the community’s stunning model suite and learn about The International’s lifestyle options, exceptional features and world-class services. In addition to offerings within the community itself, The International at Aventura will be a part of the highly anticipated 12|12 Aventura community. This new mixed-use development houses a vibrant retail and lifestyle colonnade including offices, restaurants, shops and a hotel. The community is being developed and invested by Rieber Development, an established, Aventura-based developer specializing in mixed-use complexes. BridgeInvest, a private real estate lender, has joined forces with Rieber Development and Thrive Senior Living to finance the project.
